Our story
The market, without the 4 AM drive
Vala Fresh was born inside one of London's most experienced food-trading families, with a simple observation: chefs and grocers were losing their nights to the market run, or losing their margins to whoever did it for them.
So we built the wholesaler we'd want to buy from. Our traders work grower and importer networks across the UK and Europe through the night. Our own refrigerated fleet rolls out of Unit A1, Brantwood Road before dawn. And by the time your first covers sit down, your produce is already in the walk-in.
